Monday – Day 1.. We leave the Center at 7:00 am to Lincoln, New Hampshire, stopping for a rest stop and then lunch on your own. There will be a “welcome” reception when we arrive at approximately 3:30 pm at the Indian Head Resort with a view of the lake from your rooms. Later that day, dinner will be in the dining room, followed by entertainment at 7:30 pm.
Tuesday – Day 2.. After breakfast at the hotel, we will leave the resort at 8:00 am and head to Mt. Washington where we will ride the “cog” railway to the summit. After this wonderful experience, we will travel to North Conway for lunch on your own. We travel back to our hotel along the Kancamagus Highway to the scenic byway through the White Mountains. After a brief rest, we will again have dinner in the dining room, followed by entertainment at 7:30 pm.
Wednesday – Day 3.. After breakfast at the hotel, we will leave at 9:00 am and travel to Franconia Notch State Park visitor’s center. Following our visit to the park, we will be welcomed at Harman’s Cheese and Country Store at Sugar Hill. There you will find the “World’s Greatest” Cheddar Cheese. Polly’s Pancake Parlor will be our stop for lunch.
We will head back to the hotel at 4:15 pm to prepare for our next excursion – the Café La Fayette Dinner Train. **NOTE: DRESS APPROPRIATELY** After dinner, back to the hotel.
Thursday – Day 4.. After another breakfast at the hotel, we will head home, but not before stopping for Sophie’s Mail boat. Not enough to eat so far?? How about lunch at Hart’s Turkey Farm. We will leave the White Mountains and all our adventures at 1:30 pm with a rest and fast food stop (really?) arriving at the Center at 8:30 pm.
