In the Ziegfeld Follies, in Hollywood films, and on the radio, Fanny Brice was one of the most celebrated entertainers of her time. With humor, talent, and chutzpah, Funny Girl tells the story of an awkward Jewish girl who “isn’t pretty,” yet defies the odds and becomes one of the greatest stars of her generation.
Featuring songs like “Don’t Rain On My Parade”, “The Music That Makes Me Dance”, and “People,” Funny Girl makes for a thrilling night at the theater not to be missed!
View the lovely scenery as we venture to the Forestburg Playhouse, the oldest continuously operating professional summer theater in New York State for a buffet lunch in their tavern. We will then walk close by to attend a matinee show at 2:00 pm of “Funny Girl” at the playhouse. Departing for home at 4:15 pm, we will have a fast food stop on the way home.
Depart from the Center @ 10:00 am and return @ 7:00 pm.
